Junior Preschool
Ages 2.5 years to Age 3
Our Junior Preschool classroom is designed to be a stepping stone from Toddler care to Preschool. With a few less transitions than our Preschool schedule, our students enjoy curriculum activities in the areas of Early Language & Literacy, Physical Development, Music & Movement, STEAM, and Interactive Reading.
This is also a time when students begin taking scheduled trips to the potty, if they've not already mastered potty training. Students can move up to Preschool once they have turned 3, are potty trained, and are developmentally ready to add in more transitions.
Preschool
Ages 3 to 4 years
Our Preschool classroom has a heavy emphasis on learning through structured play. Teachers guide children through important childhood skills like sharing, taking turns, and making safe transitions between school activities.
In Preschool, we continue our use of Creative Curriculum's plans, which are packed full of exciting STEAM, Music & Movement, Early Language & Literacy, Interactive Reading, and Physical Development activities.
Pre-K
Ages 4 to 5 and Kindergarten Ready
Our Pre-K students are those who will turn 5 and start Kindergarten the following school-year.
All of our Pre-K students celebrate graduation at the end of the year - complete with caps, gowns, and a class graduation party!
Our Pre-K teachers focus on helping students build on what they have learned in Preschool while introducing Kindergarten readiness skills like phonemic awareness, beginning math concepts, and measuring attributes.
The Creative Curriculum activities offer students a unique opportunity to explore the world around them!
